The excellent house staff at La Meridiana ensure that the villa, garden and guests are well looked after. Giovanna, the housekeeper and cook, works four hours per day, six days per week and her service is included in the rental price. Giovanna cleans the villa daily prepares a light breakfast. She is also available to cook lunch or dinner for guests for an extra cost.
Guests can choose to do food shopping or pay Giovanna to do it. Most guests staying at La Meridiana prefer Giovanna to do all the cooking, food shopping and laundry. Also included in the price is the service provided by Giovanni, Giovanna’s husband who looks after the garden, pool and tennis court.

SHOPPING AT OSTERIA NUOVA
Most food shopping can be done at the SISA supermarket in Osteria Nuova, a short drive from La Meridiana along Via Salaria towards Rome. SISA has everything and is the best place to buy meat, mozzarella and drink, but the Azienda Agricola Lupi, run by Maurizio and Andrea is better for even higher quality vegetables, fruit and local wine. They have a vegetable stand by the Salaria, (not far from Osteria Nuova towards Rome), but it is better to order by telephone and they will deliver on a weekday to an arranged location and time.
